Is any maintenance required for stamped concrete?
Cleaning and resealing stamped concrete should be done on a regular basis just like any other home maintenance. We recommend resealing only after all topical sealer has worn away and the color has significantly faded, typically every 3-5 years depending on usage and UV exposure.
We can provide reseal service for you or you can purchase professional grade sealer from our retail store with do-it-yourself instructions included.
After initial installation, how long do I need to wait until I can walk on the concrete and/or place furniture on it?
After initial installation, wait 24 hours before walking on the concrete and then wait another 7 days before adding furniture, flower pots, etc.
The caution tape and stakes can be removed after 24 hours and added to your household waste.
How do I care for my concrete during the Winter months?
Use a broom, plastic shovel or a snow blower with a plastic cutting edge to avoid scratching the concrete.
Do not use any type of ice melting products, even those advertised as “safe for concrete”. Ice melting products are known to cause spalling and if used will void your warranty. Use kitty litter or sand if an anti-skid is needed.
